RN, OCN
I’ve been working alongside Dr. Ghosh since 1994 and work mainly in the infusion room at The Ghosh Center. My previous experience includes nursing positions in San Antonio, Denver and Cincinnati, with the majority of my time spent in outpatient oncology nursing. I have a nursing degree from UNO/Nebraska Methodist School of Nursing and am a certified oncology nurse.
I feel blessed to be a part of The Ghosh Center team. We’re fortunate to have an amazing group of professionals with a lot of clinical experience. Throughout my years of nursing, I have to say this is the most caring group I’ve ever worked with. We truly do put the patients and their families first.
My feeling is that this is "a calling" not just "a job" that I come to every day. I put a lot of energy into what I do, but go home feeling like I've been given so much more! And that is because of the patients we care for. They and their families are my favorite part of working here, as is the closeness of the staff.
My husband Richard and I have three children: Lauren, Austin and Jordan. We also "adopted" Christian, who came to us in 2006 as a foreign exchange student. Our children are well out of high school and starting their own lives. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends doing pretty much anything! My interests include reading, cooking, playing piano, photography, flowers, kick boxing, kayaking and snow shoeing. I am very active in my church and am part of music liturgy for the adult choir and children's choir.
